Every believer needs the power of the Holy Ghost. As we prepare to celebrate Pentecost, one of the Feast Days, I am writing to you so that you can get your power back.
Feast Days are important when it comes to what God put in order for us to acknowledge. I’ve taught on this many times. When God saved the children of Israel, He chose them. There is a relationship that He had with His people.
It is the same relationship that He wants to have with you, through Pentecost.
You see, Pentecost is a time that we celebrate the inception and birth of the body of Christ on the earth. The day of Pentecost was a historic event; it was the outpouring of the Holy Ghost that fell upon 120 believers who followed Christ, but didn’t have the power in Acts 2.
This power didn’t come from being religious.
This power didn’t come from education.
This power didn’t come from your parents.
This power didn’t come from your intellect.
Acts 1:8 KJVS says:
[8] But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
This wasn’t ordinary power. It was Pentecost POWER! The word Power in Greek means Dunamis. It is where we get the root word for dynomites. It was a spiritual power that was a dynamite against the forces of darkness.
You may not understand this, but there is a dark side at work every day. Generational curses are influenced by demonic dark powers. Pentecost Power is the kind of power that can fight these kinds of attacks.
JESUS, when HE walked physically for more than two hundred years on the face of the earth, needed this power upon HIS life. Look what the Bible says in Acts 10:38 KJVS:
[38] How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
You need power from on high. That is what the Pentecost experience is all about. According to Acts 2 and the 120 people who received the Holy Ghost waiting in the upper on the day of the Pentecost for the power. I want you to shout and praise God right now:
Thank God for Pentecost POWER!
Thank God for signs and wonders!
Thank God for the anointing!
Thank God for miracles!
Thank God for being able to break the back of the devil!
Thank God for the Holy Ghost!
Thank God for the power to stand against the spiritual forces!
