There Is Something for You on the Other Side
“Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth. But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy.”– Luke 8:22-23
There was a time when Jesus and His disciples went out into a lake, and along the way, Jesus fell asleep. A storm came and the disciples got afraid because of the conditions that were happening.
I know that sometimes in your life you feel like God went to sleep. You know what I’m talking about. Sometimes, you feel that He’s not hearing your prayers. You ask, “Where are you Lord?” You look to your left, to your right, behind you, in front of you, but you still don’t feel Him there. You get up asking, “Where are you God?”
Let me tell you something, even when things look like they’re not going to manifest in your life, God has not forgotten His promises.
Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
God only wants to give you what’s good for you. Did it ever occur to you that God doesn’t want you to have that thing you’re asking for??
You may be upset because you’ve been expecting a different answer. You may be upset because the thing that you’ve been working on didn’t work out. But you need to understand that some of the things that we’re asking from God are NOT good for us.
God wants you to have what He wants to give to you. Stop fighting God. Let Him do it! What you’re asking for may be good, but it’s not good for you. Remember, God would never do anything that will harm you. He’s going to make it good for you. Believe that God is going do everything He said He’s going to do.
You need to understand that Jesus called His disciples to go to the other side of the lake for a purpose.
I declare to you, God is giving you what’s good for you!
The other side of the lake is your destination
The other side of the lake is your assignment
The other side of the lake is what God has placed you on the earth to fulfill
The other side of the lake is your prosperity
The other side of the lake is your healing from the past
The other side of the lake is your happiness
We have to all know that our trust is in God. And we thank God that as we trust Him, He will release the power of His ability that comes from heaven.
Today, I want you to declare and stand with GOD’S PROMISE. God created man on the sixth day. 6 signifies our creation. 7 signifies completion or perfection, especially of God. God’s promise for your life is perfect and for you. I want you to prepare your heart to receive what God wants to give you at this time in your life. You are declaring that you are in full agreement with God’s purpose for your life.
If you take care of God’s business, He will take care of your business. When I put God first, He put me first. Our God is a righteous God. Amen!
